Tomorrow, Thursday 14 October, Gauteng Department of Health and Social Development MEC Qedani Mahlangu will witness a cataract surgery in commemoration of World Sight Day at Pretoria West Hospital in Tshwane.
The day serves as an occasion to raise awareness on eye conditions, the importance of eye health and care and to identify through screening any eye defects that people might have.
