MEC Khabisi Mosunkutu patrols Sebokeng for 67 minutes

The MEC for Gauteng Department of Community Safety, Khabisi Mosunkutu and his departmental senior management team accompanied by local authorities, will this evening join the community volunteer patrollers to patrol different precincts at Sebokeng.

The patrol is part of the Gauteng Provincial Government’s programmes to celebrate Mandela Day in a different style by giving people an opportunity to take 67 minutes off from their daily activities and do something in service to their community.

This is one of the many activities taking place by members of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature under the theme “it is time for new hands to lift the burdens,” which will culminate into Mandela Day celebrations due to take place on Saturday, 18 July 2009.

Details of the event are as follows:

Date: 15 July 2009
Time: 17h30 to 20h00
Venue: Assembly and Briefing, Sebokeng Police Station, next Hospital
