North West MEC for Local Government and Traditional Affairs, Mothibedi Kegakilwe will present the 2010/11 departmental budget vote at the Provincial Legislature on Tuesday, 18 May 2010 at 9h00.
Kegakilwe will reflect on the progress made since the adoption of the Local Government Turn Around Strategy by Cabinet in December last year.
Kegakilwe will also outline the department’s plan to assist municipalities to increase the rate at which they provide services to their communities as well as assistance given to support and strengthen the institution of traditional leadership in the province.
