Tomorrow, MEC Donald Grant will be visiting Elkanah House, to congratulate and wish good luck to 16 of Cape Town's top young mathematicians who will be competing in the Po Leung Kuk Primary Mathematics World Contest in Hong Kong and the Invitational World Youth Intercity Mathematics Competition (IWYIMC) in Korea in July 2010.
The competitions aim to enhance primary school learners' interests in mathematics, provide a cultural and academic exchange opportunity, and seek to discover gifted mathematical learners.
