Tomorrow, MEC for Education in the Western Cape, Donald Grant, will be making an announcement on the future of hospital schools in the Western Cape.
The previous MEC for Education in the Western Cape, MEC Yousaf Gabru, had indicated his intention to close hospital schools in the province and transfer their functions to resource centres/special schools. After much deliberation, the current MEC has made a final decision on the future of hospital schools in the province.
