Tonight, Western Cape MEC for Education, Donald Grant will be addressing a public meeting with local school governing bodies, principals, teachers and parents in the Elsies River community to discuss school safety and the implementation of the department’s strategic plan for education.
Last week, MEC Grant visited a number of schools in the area, including Edward Primary which was recently vandalised, and decided that there was a need to speak to the community on how to improve school safety measures.
