Eastern Cape MEC for Transport and Safety Ghishma Barry will deliver a keynote address at the 10th SAPS Provincial Star of the Year Awards Ceremony to be held tomorrow at Fish River Sun at 17h00.
These awards honour the bravery of individual police officers, public service act personnel within the SAPS and reservists, who went out of their way to deliver services to the communities.
For the first time in the history of the awards, MEC Barry will hand over awards to the Best Police Station and Best Community Police Forum in the province.
