The MEC for Economic Development, Nkosiphendule Kolisile will visit the Ga-Rankuwa Community on Wednesday 31 October 2012. The visit is a follow-up from the previous public meeting hosted by the Gauteng Provincial Government.
The public meeting will focus on plans to revitalise the economy in the area, particularly the industrial sites surrounding the community.
The department will also showcase a range of economic opportunities available to entrepreneurs, small businesses and cooperatives.
The public meeting will be attended by Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) from the department's agencies such as the Gauteng Growth and Development Agency (GGDA), Gauteng Enterprise Propeller (GEP) and others.
MEC Kolisile accompanied by CEOs of agencies, will further visit the surrounding industrial sites and the Ga-Rankuwa Hotel and Catering Centre.
