The Gauteng MEC for Infrastructure Development Bheki Nkosi will inspect the progress of construction at the June 16th Memorial and Youth Institute in Soweto on Monday, 4 June 2012.
The Institute is central to the June 16th Trail projects aimed at identifying and recognising contributions of the struggle of veterans in their communities and encourage youth development programmes.
The construction of the Institute involves collaboration between the Department of Infrastructure Development, the City of Johannesburg, the June 16th Foundation and the community of Jabavu.
