As part of her programme for the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children, Eastern Cape MEC for Transport, Safety and Liaison, Ghishma Barry together with the Honourable Mayor Fezeka Nkomonye will be hosting a Community Safety Imbizo at Middle Gqogqorhe Location in Tsomo on Friday, 26 November 2010 at 10h00am.
MEC Barry is further expected to hand over 50 bicycles to rural learners from eight local schools.
This distribution of bicycles forms part of the Shova kaLula Bicycle Project, which targets learners who travel long distances to reach schools.
