Eastern Cape Transport and Safety MEC Gloria Barry will address the 21st Anniversary Celebrations of the 43 Air School in Port Alfred tomorrow 26 June 2009 at 12h00.
The school is a strategic partner of the Department of Roads and Transport in its Blue Skyway Aviation Strategy which seeks to revive the Bhisho and Mthatha Airports and 110 airstrips throughout the province. The introduction of the strategy led to the opening of a campus for advance training at Bhisho Airport, which has more than 100 students from various African states.
MEC Barry is expected to announce the 1st anniversary celebration date of the campus.
