To mark the UN International Day of the Girl Child on Sunday the Western Cape Social Development Minister, Adv. Albert Fritz, will pledge support for the Caring4Girls campaign in partnership with Dischem.
Minister Fritz will visit the Dischem store in Canal Walk Shopping Centre and donate sanitary pads towards the initiative. Minister Fritz will be met by Richard Mabaso of Caring4Girls and Dischem store manager, Wayne Sterling. This will mark the beginning of what will be ongoing involvement and support from the department.
There will be opportunities for interviews and photographs.
