The Minister of Department of Public Works, Gwen Mahlangu-Nkabinde has identified the OR Tambo Technical High School in the area of Enkantolo Village at Mbizana, Eastern Cape, for the 2011 Mandela Day celebrations.
Mbizana is the birthplace of ANC stalwarts, the late Oliver Reginald Tambo and Winnie Madikizela. In an effort to fulfil the ideals of Mandela Day - that of selfless service to the people - the Minister decided to visit the area whereby she will spend 67 minutes of her time painting and planting trees at the school.
The Minister of Public Works, Honourable Gwen Mahlangu-Nkabinde, invites you to this event to celebrate Madiba’s commitment to humanity with her.
