About 50 kids will celebrate an early Christmas with Free State Education MEC, Tate Makgoe, Head of Department, Stanley Malope and senior officials of the provincial Department of Education on 19 December in Thaba Nchu Springfontein Trust and treated to a day of fun, games and presents.
Looking forward to put a smile on the faces of kids from this disadvantaged communities, Makgoe said Christmas though a festive period could be sad for others less fortunate and from impoverished background.
On the day MEC Makgoe and HOD Malope will be in their great element playing Father Christmas and dishing out Christmas clothes as presents.
The presents were bought by senior officials of the department who willingly out of their kind heart supported the Makgoe in his caring and drive to reach rural children and put them in a celebratory Christmas mood.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Ho! Ho! Ho! Says Father Christmas Makgoe to all children across the province.
