Limpopo Renal Unit under spotlight

In an effort to enhance health care service delivery and share experiences with other African countries, the MEC for Health and Social Development, Mme Dikeledi Magadzi will today host a high profile delegation from Swaziland led by Hon. Nonhlanhla Dlamini, MP at the Polokwane Hospital Renal Unit Facility.

The visit will assist the Government of Swaziland to learn best practices from the Polokwane based Renal Unit, hailed as the best facility and a model Public Private Partnership (PPP) with Clinix Renal Care and the Limpopo Department of Health and Social Development.

This comes hot at the heels of yet another successful visit by the Mpumalanga Provincial Government to the facility a month ago.

“This learning tour by the Government of Swaziland to the Polokwane Hospital Complex, Renal Unit facility is a clear indication that as Africans we are capable of improving our lot and are able to share best practices and experiences to enhance health care service delivery”, Magadzi said.

Media is invited.
