The media is cordially invited to the provincial launch of when duty Calls Festive Season Operation campaign. With the festive season around the corner and the expected influx of people into the province during this period, the South African Police Service (SAPS) is already in an advanced stage of planning actions and operations to keep the citizens of the province safe and secure.
The MEC for Safety, Security and Liaison, Ms Fulufhelo Radzilani together with the Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Simon Mpembe, will brief the media on the operations and hand over new resources in the fight against crime. The event will take place as following:
