Limpopo Department of Sport, Arts and Culture will host the provincial OR Tambo Games in Vhembe District, Thulamela Municipality. The OR Tambo games is a multicoded sport tournament which is aimed at unearthing identified talent in different sporting codes, to foster unity in different sporting codes. The 2011 Limpopo OR Tambo will take place from 25 to 28 June 2011.
The games ceremonies will take place as follows:

The games are dedicated to the stalwart of the anti-apartheid liberation struggle, a diplomat and an international icon, Mr Oliver Reginald Tambo. The Limpopo Department of Sport, Arts and Culture strives towards an integrated, uplifted sporting community and seeks the protection and constant development of the province’s rich and diverse cultures, world-renowned heritage sites and colourful art forms.
