The Limpopo MEC for Health and Social Development Mme Dikeledi Magadzi will on Tuesday, 29 November 2011 host departmental Service Excellence Award Ceremony to honour individuals and teams for the outstanding work done during the 2010/11 financial year.
During the award ceremony, MEC Magadzi is expected to honour those who went beyond the call of duty in the following categories:
- Improvement of public service results
- Improvement of the quality of the public service process
- Innovation in the public service
- application of Information and Communication Technology.
"Some amongst us really go beyond the call of duty to serve our people and it is therefore our responsibility as the leadership to honour them with an objective to encourage them to continue to excel in the delivery of service as we endeavour to build a long and healthy lives for all our people", Magadzi said.
The Limpopo Department of Health and Social Development believes that officials are the greatest assets and therefore needs to be recognised for the job well done while at the same time correct those who are not doing well as expected.
"We believe that through this awards will inspire more individuals and teams of persons in both the departments of Health and social Development to excel and improve on service delivery", Magadzi concluded.
