On 26 and 27 July 2011 the National Department of Health and the National Health Research Committee hosted the National Health Research Summit to examine how research could be used to address and contribute to improving the health of all South Africans.
Stakeholders at the summit identified seven actionable recommendations for strengthening health. The report on the summit will now be released on 26 April at the Cullinan Hotel in Cape Town.
