The Department of Community Safety will today visit a number of schools with a view to implement school safety programme. Amongst the problematic schools to be visited include Jules High School. The procession will also visit a number of hot spots where there are allegations of owner selling drugs and alcohol to learners.
All these visits will see departments doing operation stop and search. The road show will conclude at Ghandi square where learners will be addressed by non-governmental organisations (NGOs,) South African National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (SANCA) and the Department of Education.
