The MEC for Finance Louisa Mabe will table the provincial budget before the Provincial Legislature on 4 March 2011.
Citizens of the North West province are invited to send through their tips on what they would like to see in the provincial budget and what they think provincial government spending priorities should be. This is the second year running of the campaign and last year we received encouraging responses, some of which were acknowledged by MEC in her maiden provincial budget speech.
"This exercise is aimed at encouraging participatory democracy by taking into consideration views and opinions of the citizens of the province with the view of improving service delivery in their respective municipalities," said MEC Mabe.Tips can be sent via e-mail : treasury@nwpg.gov.za
