The Gauteng Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation will hold a briefing session with theatre practitioners to discuss the roll out plan for the 2011/12 financial year Ishashalazi Theatre programme.
Issues to be discussed include processes for auditions, adjudication, workshops for facilitators, training and development, women empowerment workshops, the festival and the 2011 Gauteng Ishashalazi Theatre awards.
The Ishashalazi Theatre programme is a programme that seeks to improve the standard of theatre in Gauteng and create a platform for artists and performers to showcase their best in development theatre.
Gauteng theatre practitioners are invited to the briefing session.
