The Auditor-General of South Africa invites record management specialists, archivists and chief financial officers from government institutions to attend a full-day record management seminar. The seminar will impart information regarding the importance of good record-keeping systems as they relate to positive audit outcomes. Record management practitioners will be afforded an opportunity to reflect on:
- the importance of good record-keeping systems as enablers in increasing the retrieval of information during the auditing period
- the adoption and implementation of proper record management systems to avoid disclaimers, qualified reports and corruption charges.
The Auditor-General, Mr Terence Nombembe, will address attendees on the importance of their work and its impact on the auditing processes.
