To mark the start of the new academic year and as part of his vision to grow tourism in South Africa, the Minister of Tourism has invited a cross section of 30 Further Education and Training (FET) College students who are engaged in Tourism and Hospitality studies to join him on an interactive tour of the prestigious One and Only Hotel. This showcase of world class experience and expertise will greatly benefit the aspirant students who wish to make tourism their career of choice.
As tourism has been identified as one of the key growth sectorsof the economy, the FET college sector is well positioned to create a skills pool to support the further expansion and growth of the tourism industry.
