The Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (DAFF) invites members of the media to the Financial Assistance and Land Administration (FALA) day event to be held at Geduld 270 IP in Klerksdorp, North West province, on Thursday, 25 November 2010.
The purpose of the event is to showcase agricultural production taking place on state land as a pillar of food security and agrarian reform. The FALA Day aims to bring together land and agrarian reform beneficiaries in order to highlight areas of success, and to share information and experiences in farming.
The event will take place as follows:
