Invitation to the 2010 International Anti-Corruption Day Roundtable Event

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the Public Service Commission (PSC) and the University of South Africa (UNISA) cordially invite the members of the media to the 2010 International Anti-Corruption Day roundtable event. The event will be held at UNISA‘s Senate Hall on Thursday, 9 December 2010 from 09h30 for 10h00 until 13h00, followed by a light luncheon.

The International Anti-Corruption Day is celebrated annually and is regarded as a valuable opportunity to promote the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC) and reflect on initiatives undertaken against corruption on a global, regional, and national level.

The event will be addressed by Mr Richard Baloyi, Minister of Public Service & Administration, Dr Ralph Mgijima, Chairperson of Public Service Commission and Ms Futhi Mtoba, President of Business Unity South Africa and Chairperson of the National Anti-Corruption Forum.

The members of the media are invited to the event.
