Information Bill hearings, it's Limpopo's turn

The National Council of Provinces' Ad Hoc committee on the Protection of State Information Bill will hold public hearings on 28 February 2012 in Limpopo.

This is an opportunity for members of the public in the province to voice their views about the Bill. Public participation in the law-making process is in keeping with the functions of the country's Parliament.

The 15-member committee will be divided into three groups, with the first group conducting public hearings in the Mopani District Municipality, the second group in the Capricorn District Municipality and the third group in the Waterberg District Municipality.

Group one: Mopani District Municipality
Venue: Chris Hani Hall (Ga-Mamaila near Sekgosese)
Time: 09h00 - 16h00

Group two: Capricorn District Municipality
Venue: Lebowakgomo Civic Hall (Lebowakgomo)
Time: 09h00 – 16h00

Group three: Waterberg District Municipality
Venue: Van Rhynsberg Hall (Mokopane)
Time: 09h00 - 16h00
