Members of the media are invited to a media briefing to announce details of South African /Indian cultural festival. The festival is part of the South Africa (SA)/India Programme for Cultural Cooperation (POC).
During the SA-India Joint Ministerial meeting which was held in India in March 2011, the two countries committed to host festivals in both countries. The Department of Arts and Culture aims to strategically use the Festival to market South African arts and culture internationally.
