The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Wandile Tutani as the new Chairperson of the Complaints and Compliance Committee (CCC).
Mr Tutani, whose appointment became effective from 1 September 2011, brings with him a whole lot of ICT knowledge and experience both as a qualified attorney who has been in practice for some time and has the necessary experience and a leader.
Mr Tutani has extensive knowledge and understanding of legal and government processes having worked as a Business Executive: Governance at the Auditor-General of South Africa until 2010, Group Manager: Legal Services at Business Connexion (Pty) Ltd until 2005 and the former IBA as Head of Legal.
Over and above his legal qualifications, he also possesses a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree and has had an opportunity to also work for the Post Office.
Mr Tutani will be officially sworn-in by the Honorable retired Judge IWB De Villiers on 28 September 2011 at 09h00, Block C Presentation Room, ICASA Sandton Offices.
