With the 2010 FIFA World Cup around the corner, the traffic law enforcement training programme focusing on Incident Management Systems (IMS) will be held in East London next week. The training will be at the Old Selbornian Club at the corner of Pearce and Glen Eagles Streets in Baysville, East London, on 29 April 2010 at 08h30.
This follows a successful training held in Aliwal North and Port Elizabeth over the past two weeks with a particular focus on officials that are dealing with accident and incident scenes, which include provincial and municipal traffic officers, SAPS members and SANRAL officials.
Also included in this training programme are customer care consultants, as they are the ones who are receiving information from the traffic officers on the scene, specifically so that they can have that insight on how an accident incident scene is coordinated through incident management systems.
