The Minister of Arts and Culture, Ms Lulu Xingwana invites media to the inauguration of new members of the Freedom Park council. As announced by the Minister in her budget vote speech, Freedom Park became a declared cultural institution on 1 April 2009. The newly appointed council will serve for a period of three years. The inauguration will take place as follows:
