The Executive Director of the Independent Complaints Directorate (ICD), Mr Francois Beukman will visit the family of the deceased, Mr Zamuxolo Zozo (31) who died in police custody on 8 January 2012.
The deceased was allegedly beaten to death by four police officers after he was taken into custody over a domestic violence dispute with his wife.
Mr Beukman will visit the grieving family tomorrow to offer his condolences on behalf of the ICD.
