The Deputy Minister of Human Settlements, Ms Zoe Kota-Fredericks will hand over houses and embark on a greening campaign in the Western Cape municipality of Oudtshoorn as part of a build-up to Human Rights Day.
The housing hand over and greening campaign is aimed at raising awareness about human settlements as a human rights issue, and ensuring that people are settled in well located land, safe from disasters and adverse environmental conditions.
