The Department of Home Affairs media briefing scheduled for Friday 15 June 2012 at 12h30 has been postponed.
Home Affairs Director-General Mkuseli Apleni will on Friday, 15 June 2012 brief the media on:
- the incident at the Pretoria Showground Refugee Reception Centre on Wednesday, 13 June 2012;
- the closing of the Maitland Refugee Reception Centre effective 30 June 2012;
- the Lindela Deportation Facility;
- an update on the resolution of duplicate identity documment (IDs); and
