Higher Education and Training Deputy Minister Hlengiwe Mkhize to speak at The New Hope Summit

Higher Education and Training Deputy Minister, Professor Hlengiwe Mkhize, will speak at The New Hope Summit in Cape Town. This is an initiative by students from different Universities in the Western Cape where they engage on issues related to Racism,
Transformation, Integration, Language policy, etc.

The summit provides student leaders an opportunity to share experiences and challenges on campus and together find solutions. It was initiated last year and was held in the University of Stellenbosch. Student leaders from FET colleges in the province have also been invited to participate.

Prof. Mkhize has been requested to speak on the following topic: “Has Democracy Solved the Major Socio-economic Challenges of South Africa?”

Journalists are invited to attend this important summit.
