Hearings on National Gambling Legislation

The Portfolio Committee on Trade and Industry will tomorrow hold public hearings to review the National Gambling Legislation.

The hearings will provide the public an opportunity to address the committee on the socio-economic impact of legalised gambling, the impact of misleading advertising, the regulation of cross-border gambling, the effectiveness of the current regulatory environment with regards to gambling, and interactive gambling.

During the hearings, the committee will engage with various stakeholders including civil society organisations.
