National Health Minister Dr Aaron Motsoaledi and Gauteng Health and Social Development MEC Ms Qedani Mahlangu visited Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital on Monday, 13 July 2009.
The purpose of the trip was to evaluate progress on the hospital's new building whilst also granting various stakeholders the opportunity to discuss some areas of concern with the health dignitaries.
The day began with a tour of the newly built premises and concluded with discussion forums held with leaders of different religious groups and intern doctors from the hospital.
