Members of the media are invited to a media briefing to be addressed by the Minister of Health, Dr Aaron Motsoaledi and other health ministers from the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) on the spread of non-communicable diseases and their impact on the health systems of the country and the region.
The media briefing will take place on the side lines of the start of a regional campaign to combat non-communicable diseases which, when combined with HIV and AIDS and lack of resources, claim the lives of thousands of the region’s citizens and paralyse efficient healthcare delivery.
