The Electoral Commission (IEC), Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature, SABC Mpumalanga, Mayors of Lekwa and Govan Mbeki Local Municipalities, Gert Sibande District Municipality, SEDS Consortium (SAB-T, Ernest & Young, Deloitte & Touché and Sizwe Ntsaluba) and Masibumbane Construction will be handing over houses to two elderly women namely Gogo Gama (109 years) and Gogo Thwala (106 years).
Members of the media are invited to attend the two ceremonies on Tuesday, 18 October 2011. Arrangements are as follows:
First house to Mrs Thwala in Lekwa Municipality
Time: 08h00 to 10h00: Handover of house donated by SEDS Consortium (SAB-T, Ernest & Young, Deloitte & Touché and Sizwe Ntsaluba) to Mrs Thwala (106 years)
Venue: 1013/78 Cosmos Street, Azalea, Standerton (Lekwa Municipality)
Second house to Mrs Gama in Govan Mbeki Municipality
Time: 11h30 to 12h30: Handover of house donated by Mr S Busane of Masibumbane Construction to Mrs Gama (109 years)
Venue: 13179 Extension 10, Embalenhle, Secunda (Govan Mbeki Municipality)
