In the run up to International Tourist Guide Day which takes place on 21 February, the Minister, together with the vibrant tourism community of Tulbagh, invites you on a guided tour/walkabout of the quintessentialtown of Tulbagh, in particular the significant Church Street. Following the earthquake in 1969, every building in present Church Street was meticulously restored to its original form.
These 32 buildings were all declared provincial monuments and constitute the largest concentration of provincial monuments in one street in South Africa.
