2014 Youth Month Theme:Youth Moving South Africa Forward
Government in partnership with the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) is preparing for events to commemorate the 38th anniversary of June 16. The 2014 Youth Month is also highly significant as South Africa marks 20 years of democracy and freedom thus a number of key programmes have been included in the calendar of events for Youth Month 2014.
The media are hereby invited to attend the 2014 Youth Month Launch as this calendar of events will be presented to stakeholders, media and young people:

Expected speakers include the Minister and Deputy Minister in the Presidency Mr Jeff Radebe and Buti Manamela, the Minister of Arts and Culture, Mr Nathi Mthethwa as well as the Premier of Gauteng, Mr David Makhura.
