The Gauteng MEC for Economic Development, Mr Nkosiphendule Kolisile will host the “World Consumer Rights Day Celebration” event in Khutsong, Merafong City Local Municipality of the West Rand District Municipality.
Through this event, the Gauteng Department of Economic Development aims to commemorate the World Consumer Rights Day and to create increased Consumer Rights awareness among the Gauteng citizens particularly community members in Merafong.
This event is the highlight of the Gauteng Consumer Month Awareness Programme during the month of March. The Gauteng Office of Consumer Affairs will be hosting a series of Consumer Education and Awareness Workshops in various regions of the province throughout the month of March.
