Members of the media are invited to the WASA Phase 1 Project Final Seminar which is scheduled for 8 April 2014. WASA Phase 1 Project (2009 – 2014) covers the Western Cape and parts of the Northern Cape and Eastern Cape Provinces.
WASA Phase 1 Project results and application, which include amongst others, Weather Research Forecasting (WRF) based Numerical Wind Atlas, updated and enhanced Wind Resource Map and Extreme Wind Atlas, will be presented and discussed at this workshop.
Please note that the Deputy Minister of Energy Ms Barbara Thompson will do the key note address and will be accompanied by the Ambassador of Denmark, Mr René Dinesen.
