Alan Winde, MEC of Economic Opportunities will visit a Cape Town-based tech firm which designed Africa’s first low power solar-powered Android computer.
The computer, IMPI Mk1, was launched by Capsule Technologies. Specifically designed for the African continent, the ground-breaking technology is affordable and not vulnerable to an erratic electricity supply.
MEC Winde will view the invention and congratulate the company for earning international attention for the Western Cape’s tech sector.
