MEC of Cultural Affairs and Sport, Dr Nomafrench Mbombo, will be delivering the key note address at the Spar National Netball Championships. The annual National Netball Championships is used as a scouting platform for up and coming players many of whom have subsequently graduated into the ranks of the national team.
The tournament has the tradition of running over women’s month in an effort to pay tribute and honour women in sport. MEC Mbombo will speak on the Department of Cultural Affairs and Sports’ effort to promote not only netball as a revolutionary sport in the province but how we channel most of our efforts and resources to developing sport in the province.
