Dan Plato, Western Cape MEC of Community Safety, will hand over a mobile safety trailer to the Sea Point City Improvement District (CID) and accompany the CID on a walkabout through the area.
City Improvement Districts are a vital player in the field of increasing safety for all people in the city, with 24 CIDs operational throughout the Western Cape. Through the CIDs hundreds of people work to improve our areas and through their work address the root causes of crime in a sustainable manner.
