Tomorrow, Western Cape Ministers Alan Winde, Theuns Botha and Dan Plato, in collaboration with the South African Police Services, will provide a status update on the province's fight against liquor abuse.
Information will be provided on the risks of liquor abuse and our plans to fight this scourge, including enforcement against illegal liquor outlets and enforcement against non-compliant legal outlets.
It has also been one month since the new Liquor Act became fully operational. We will provide a review of its implementation to date.
