Increasing economic opportunities for people with disabilities will be high on the agenda at the Annual Disability Employment Summit in Cape Town this week.
The summit takes place at the Cape Town Convention Centre on Friday (13 February 2015).
It is being hosted by the Western Cape Department of Economic Development and Tourism in partnership with the Western Cape Network on Disability.
National and provincial government officials, associations representing people with disabilities and major businesses will address the event.
Alan Winde, Minister of Economic Opportunities, said: “The summit brings together people with disabilities, government and the private sector to ensure the economic inclusion of people with disabilities.”
