Agricultural innovation and research to be boosted by landmark partnership
The Western Cape Government and Stellenbosch University is set to strengthen its partnership to further agricultural innovation and research.
Tomorrow (24 August 2015), the Provincial Department of Agriculture will sign a memorandum of understanding with Stellenbosch University.
Alan Winde, Minister of Economic Opportunities, said the partnership would include collaboration on Project Khulisa’s key growth sectors, such as agri-processing. Minister Winde said the move would also be a boost for the skills development of young people in the sector.
