DWS and George Water and Sanitation Forum meet to discuss water and sanitation issues
In an effort to resolve water and sanitation challenges in communities, the Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) will meet with George Water and Sanitation Forum on Wednesday, 12 November.
The George Water and Sanitation Forum was established in 2017 and its mandate is to create an interface between the Department and the community to resolve and advance water and sanitation development agenda. To date the forum has been instrumental in
- Training community members on basic plumbing skills
- Implementing advocacy initiatives including water conservation campaign
